A CRM that sells itself through a free trial

Lavender Sketch suits a CRM company that grows by letting people sign up and try the product, not by booking a sales call first. Every main button on the page points to a free trial, and the closing section reassures visitors that no card or commitment is needed. If your CRM is aimed at small teams and founders who pick software themselves, but you also want to look credible when a larger company's IT team checks you out, this layout is built for that.

The tone is friendly and a little playful, with hand-drawn touches that make a CRM feel easy to pick up rather than heavy to roll out. That suits a product whose pitch is "set up in an afternoon" more than one sold on deep, months-long implementation.

Sections that already do the selling

The page runs as one long scroll, and each section answers a question a buyer asks before they start a trial:

  • Opening statement and video: a short promise, a trial button, and space for a walkthrough video of your product.
  • Customer logo row: proof that known companies use you.
  • Four feature cards: each with a short explanation, a link, and a product screenshot. One card is already about integrations with tools your buyers use.
  • "What kind of decision maker are you?": four illustrated options that let visitors see themselves in your product. For a CRM, these could become sales leads, founders, account managers and operations staff.
  • Customer story: one headline result with a link to the full case study.
  • Plans and reviews: a message about scaling from solo users to large organisations, a link to pricing, and three star-rated testimonials.
  • Security and compliance: six cards covering data privacy, SOC 2 (an independent security audit), GDPR and CCPA (European and Californian privacy law), encryption, cost control and admin tools. CRMs hold customer data, so buyers look for this.
  • Product updates: three recent posts showing the product is actively maintained.
  • Final trial prompt and footer: with a newsletter sign-up and a full set of links.

Where the wireframing roots show

The template was built around a wireframing tool, so expect real work before launch. Every screenshot shows that product and needs replacing with images of your own pipeline, contact records and dashboards. The video needs re-recording. The headline, feature cards and security copy all need rewriting for a CRM, and the customer logos, case study and testimonials must be your own, so you will need at least one customer willing to share a measurable result.

The sketchy decorations around the opening section include labels such as "Wireframe" and "Button". You would either swap them for CRM-flavoured doodles like a deal card or a pipeline arrow, or remove them. The footer links mention Jira and Confluence and should be replaced with your own integrations and use cases. The overall structure, the order of the sections and the trial-led flow can stay as they are.
